At the beginning of my studies I mainly focused on the human figure. With a sharp pencil I approached nude models in movement, whereas I was especially interested in the contrast of flowing, fluid outlines of a body and the mysterious dark spots of an armpit or of the hollow of the knee, etc.
Little by little I started working with colours which I always kept light - pastels - borrowed from the human body.
 
Although I recovered the power of colours for my works in the years of my artistic creation, the fascination of the line and drawing still remains significant for me.
 
I like to build a picture in a dialogue of drawings and expanses of colour, whereas in the pictures of large format mostly colours dominate the work in the end. The pictures consist of several layers in which different expanses of colour emerge and fade, cover and and penetrate themselves and thus create movement and tension.
